Fourth of July weekend for Steve and Pete brought a 117.4 mile ride yesterday from Sheridan, WY to Gillette Wy. That marks what will probably be the longest day of any of the days on the ride. Steve and Pete were in good spirits, but tired as they set up camp for the evening in the parking lot of a local church. Even Mark and Diane, the support vehicle crew, seemed a bit worn out from the long day on the road providing water stops and making all the arrangement for camp.
Today brings a bit of a shorter ride at just under 80 miles to Newcastle, Wy.
