July 6, 2010- In Newcastle, WY

Hi there, everybody. Just a short note to fill you in on how the ride is going and that we have now "landed" in Newcastle, Wy for the evening after a 78 mile ride that began with freezing rain and overcast (more like November than July) and some horrific road construction where the road was "milled' or basically grooved and rutted asphalt no less than for 6 miles. But it didn't dampen our spirits, especially, since God saw to it that we had a great tailwind that made speeds of 20-25 mph regularly possible.

Overall, it is an honor to be part of a journey that in some small way supports the cause of AJS and ASJ (Honduras). I am inspired by all that thes great folks are doing and als all of your support which, believe me, is truly what helps carry us through the hard days.

Blessings always,

Steve

P.S. This is ourt of order from earlier posts but I'll fill in the blanks soon when more internet access is available.
